It seems like it might be a good time to remind everyone that murder will get you thrown into Azkaban with the dementors even if the victim has been very publicly sarcastic about one of your deep dark secrets. And mauling will get you expelled at the least.
In other words, call off the search for Chase, you lot. Punishing him won't put the cat back in the bag at any rate. And if your secrets were so dire anyway, hadn't you better spend your time dealing with the fall-out?

Normally I'm not too keen on enforcing the 'no one in Houses that aren't theirs' rule, but given the circumstances, if I see anyone who isn't a Gryffindor in the tower I'll be taking points off of us and them. And no dragging Chase out to the murderous masses either. Whatever favour it would win you with the offended would be more than offset by the favour it would lose you with your favourite redheaded prefect, understood?

Dumbledore's asked me to make up a schedule of the students who've volunteered to help patrol the grounds. Guess who's name is in the list? Why, our dear Head Boy's, of course. And Cassandra Bulstrode's, which is more curious than sinister.
Any way because Lucie's on there, I'd really like to schedule trios rather than pairs, to avoid anyone being alone with him on the grounds while patrolling for dark wizards. There aren't enough volunteers for that to be anything like feasible, though.
I'm hoping you two just forgot to put your names down?
I'll be assuming that's the case.
And if you two could help me drum up any more volunteers so perhaps I could reach my trio-goal, that would be lovely.
